Misamis Occidental PPO Conducted the Unit Certification and Performance Governance Reporting of Police Stations/Units
Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental – Peace and order maintenance is the concern as well as the responsibility of every government. The Misamis Occidental Provincial Police Office headed by PSSUPT Archival Diokno Macala, PNP Acting Provincial Director, initiated the Unit Certification and Performance Governance Reporting of Police Stations/Units of the whole province last September 3, 2014 at Naomis Botanical Garden, Ozamiz City.
It was attended by Provincial Government Officials and the Local Chief Executives of the different cities and municipalities in the province. Congressman Jorge T. Almonte, as invited guest, extended his apologies for not being able to attend the said event because of prior engagement of equal importance in the House of Representative hence, his message was delivered by his better half the Provincial Vice Governor of Misamis Occidental, Hon. Aurora Virginia M. Almonte.
“We recognize the pivotal role of the Philippine National Police as the protectors of the Filipino citizen. We salute the men and women, who have contributed and continue to contribute in upholding the principles etched in the Constitution and their committed service to the sovereign people”, said Vice Governor Almonte.
Vice Governor Almonte also said that to be able to complement the PNP modernization program, we must also strengthen police training programs and enhance crime and fighting capabilities so that, we can take pride in having a highly effective, efficient and capable police force.
“I would like to commend PSSUPT Archival Diokno Macala, Misamis Occidental PNP Acting Provincial Director for his laudable effort to institutionalize good governance by participating in this certification process. It goes to show that he has taken a personal commitment to effectively promote the administration’s thrust and to translate our collective vision of a peaceful nation”, She added.
The said event was also participated in by the officials from the PNP Regional Office.
