PGMO Holds General Christmas Party sa Kapitolyo 2015
Despite the activity jam brought about by the successive big events – the Provincial Anniversary celebration and the hostings of the RSPC and NMRAA – the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental did not miss the chance to enjoy the General Christmas Party last December 21, 2015 at the Provincial Cultural and Farmer’s Training Center. The jovial spirit of the season was evident with the presence of the Provincial Government officials headed by Governor Herminia M. Ramiro, along with the different department heads and the Capitol employees, both local and national.
During the program, Provincial Vice-Governor Aurora Virginia M. Almonte, in her speech, affirmed that Christmas is a time for thanksgiving. She also expressed her gratitude to all the PGMO employees for the successful 2015 journey that they travelled together. “Let us be joyful even if we do not have everything. Let us be grateful even if things around us are not perfect. Above all, dili nato ihikling ug kalimtan ang pinaka-celebrator sa Pasko – our Lord Jesus Christ”, she added.
A sumptuous dinner was also shared among all the PGMO officials and employees. Thereafter, the most awaited part of the said party took place – the dance competition participated by the different team colors. The Orange Prime Movers was declared as champion, while the Pink Mentors bagged the 1st place, Sky Blue Missioners the 2nd place, and Yellow Financiers the 3rd place. Aside from the dance competition, raffle draws of which home appliances and cash prizes were at stake also highlighted the affair. The night ended with a dance for all.
